Welcome to year two of The
TriFREAK Indoor Triathlon Championship-Washington. Year one was
a great success and promises to be that much better in 2007. We
have made a few changes to this years event. The date has been
moved out a little later in the year (For those of you looking for
something earlier take a look at the TriFreak
IT Championship-The Gorge) and the distance has gone from a time
format (20 minutes per discipline) to a more traditional distance
format (.5k Swim/15k Bike/5k Run). The venue will once again be
at the Korum YMCA. It is a state-of-the-art, 106,000 sq foot
athletic facility in Puyallup, WA. This, combined with the
cutting edge technology necessary for accurate bike splits (please
take a look at the course
description!) will continue to raise
the bar for indoor triathlon.
